The election for the French National Assembly was held in Chad and Ubangi-Shari on June 17, 1951. The region voted four seats to the Assembly through two electoral colleges; the first college spanned the two regions and selected one seat, while Chad chose two seats through the second campus and Ubangi-Shari. Renà ©  © Malbrant was reelected from the first campus, and Barthà ©  © Boganda I am from the second one at Ubangi-Shari. On the second campus in Chad, both seats are won by the Democratic Union of Chad.
