Adding Mahdi Army April-June 2004 rebellion

I would like to suggest to create and add an article about the Mahdi army uprising in April 2004, and for that added to the campaign box, it is something like the Tet Tet attack and I think it should be added. Any thoughts? - User: Top Gun

Adding TWO battles

I have a suggestion to add two more battles to the Iraq War Campaign. The Battle of Ramadi, April 6, 2004, and the Battle of Husaybah April 17, 2004, both are small arms, not on the scale of Fallujah, Baghdad or Najaf, and lasted only one day, but the soldiers themselves said they fought fiercely. , and in both battles over a dozen Marines were killed, 12 in Ramadi and 5 in Husaybah, as well as 150 rebels per fight involved. They are important battles such as the Battle of Mogadishu. So if anyone says this. I think it will be a great addition to the Iraq War Campaign, and it will also help to distinguish the victims of the suffering victims in the first battle for Fallujah because they have been included in the battle because the fighting was initiated by the rebels to revive the pressure from siege of the city. So who did it?

I suggest you first start this article, hoping you have information about the battle. - God FE AR (? ) 15:18, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Increase the battle

Should the Debecka Pass Battle be added to this campaign box, or is it too insignificant? --Roman Babylon 13:06, October 14, 2006 (UTC)

Campaign box size

I just joined in what appears to be a fairly comprehensive list of operations; unfortunately, this has made the campaign box rather large. There are two main options I can see to reduce size:

  • Divide boxes (either chronologically pure, or by theater/campaign/geography, but it is not clear what non-chronological limits are useful here) into three or four separate campaign boxes. Since most articles will only have one box, it will reduce the visual impact.
  • Combine some stubbier articles into one or more overview pieces of operations in the war. Some of the entries here look like very small operations that will probably remain permanent stubs, so collecting them together will be a better strategy (and let's reduce the box size at the same time).

Okay, I made the Military War Iraq military operation as an overview article for all the operations involved, and will start combining some smaller ones there, slashing them from the campaign box as I go. Kirill Lokshin 06:00, October 21, 2006 (UTC)

What is the 'Operation Peninsula Strike' Belong

It sounds like your standard large-scale attack and gathering suspects. It's no different from Operation Rifles Blitz or other less-crowded city searches. - Atfyfe 06:33, January 1, 2007 (UTC)

BIG

I suggest dividing the box into a campaign: the 2003 invasion, the 2004 uprising, and the 2005-present. - God FE AR (? ) 17:15, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

Yes, the campaign box is getting bigger. Not sure about the split - is it possible to match "Phase" (invasion-insurrection, etc.) to a good split. Publicus 21:51, January 31, 2007 (UTC)

What about the Baghdad campaign and or Anbar province? Many of these are in one of them? Publicus 21:52, January 31, 2007 (UTC)

That will be difficult with the 2004 uprising on two fronts where you will put that one. Listening here is a proposition and you take it into consideration. We halve to box one for engagement and one for major suicide attacks such as Ashoura massacre, Sadr bombing, and January 22 and 3 bombing of Baghdad in February and may also be a good idea to add Hilla bombing in february 2005 because more than 120 people died there too. Terrorist Attack

Should a major terrorist attack like Sadr City bombing on November 23, 2006 and the February 3, 2007 Baghdad bombing market be listed as "engagement" in the campaign box? Black Falcon 20:22, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Comment on the new design: not all incidents recorded in the "bombing" campaign box are "suicide bombings" (al-Aqsari mosque, Sadr City). Please consider renaming to be "big bombing", "terrorist attack", etc. Black Falcon 06:35, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

Join the battle campaign box

..because everything in this box is included in {{Iraq War}} template? - FE AR god (? ) 16:28, October 27, 2008 (UTC)

This box is thought of by me, Publicus, Freepbane, some other users and your own TheFEARgod two years ago to link to different phases of war and also to link to a section that exclusively lists combat and parts containing exclusivity lists of bomb attacks. The current box that contains all the battles has become too big so it is better in this way that the box is only in an article that contains a coalition war operation. And this box is connected to that one. The current {{Iraq War}} template is good enough. But, like every article of war there should be one campaign box at the beginning of the article, and because of the nature of this war this box should be.89.216.236.45 (talk) 17:08, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

I selected the merge. Because Template: The Iraq War has everything that this template has, so it's not necessary. We have to remove Template: Campaign of the Iraq war and transfer everything from here to here (like many other war templates, for example: Template: Korean War Campaign or Template: Vietnam War Campaign). Why only this different war? 207.233.67.8 (talk) 18:55, October 27, 2008 (UTC)
I chose not to merge because... If you delete the current campaign box then we have to put a big one but then people have to go to the template at the end of the article to link to the box with a list of all the mayor bombers. This little campaign box is as it should be, nice and neat. Links to battles and bombings separately and in one place. And what makes you change your mind to discuss this situation 207.233.67.8 after more than two months of attempts to unilaterally change the campaign box without speaking? And the answer to your question. This is different because the Vietnam war and the Korean war have no mayor terrorist bombardment with more than 100 people killed in it, they are an integral part of this war and there must be a framework that connects to the box with bombings and to the box by battle.89.216.236.45 ( talk) 12:18, October 28, 2008 (UTC)
Finally managed to clear this out, added a timeline and a campaign battle box with the hide button, better now. Publicus 15:48, October 13, 2010 (UTC)

Timeline

Should we have 1990-2002 there, I think it helps but want to see what other editors think. Publicus 18:39, October 13, 2010 (UTC)
