Panduan/Format Standar untuk membuat dan mengelola artikel dari Template ini
We Wikipedians who will work on this article must agree on some guidelines to deal with issues such as (1) The name of the tournament changes slightly from year to year (eg 1963 Thunderbird Classic Invitational called Thunderbird Invitational in 1959) (2) The tournament is absorbed into or joining other events (eg 1969 Danny Thomas-Diplomat Classic joined the Memphis Open to form the 1970's Danny Thomas Memphis Classic)
I propose a set of standard guidelines (please add or modify this as I'm sure I have not thought about any issues that may arise):
- Provide an article of the last (latest) version of the event, or in the alternate, most played name.
- The event's initial name should be redirected to the article.
- For an event that is no longer played but is absorbed into an event that has its own article, put this as a redirect to the article, and add relevant content to the it article - instead of a new article.-- Hokeman 17:06, September 20, 2007 (UTC)

It was called Carling's Golf Classic and then Carling Golf Classic and then Carling Open became Carling Open Invitational which became Carling World Open circa 1960 and 1964
