TracFone
By the end of 2013, TracFone services are limited to TracFone-branded handsets (all TracFone handsets are pre-programmed by the manufacturer; therefore, the handset is locked including the latest GSM models). Total Wireless is a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) that uses Verizon's CDMA and LTE networks. Prior to early 2017, Total Wireless products were only sold at Walmart. They are now sold at other major retail stores such as Target and Dollar General as well as independent dealers and TracFone Exclusive Retailers.
