Current Biology is a scientific journal covering all areas of biology, especially molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, neurobiology, ecology and evolutionary biology. The journal is published twice a month and includes research articles reviewed by colleagues, different types of review articles, as well as editorial magazine sections. Current Biology was founded in 1991 by the current Science group, obtained by Elsevier in 1998 and since 2001 became part of Cell Press, part of Elsevier.
