Is there any idea that two diversions are moving from Liberal to Conservative? - 69.86.17.202 02:06, January 24, 2006 (UTC)
The site is almost dead, so I suggest going through Coral Cache (http://coralcdn.org) to view it: http://www.captainsquartersblog.com.nyud.net:8090/mt/

Selected, not leading

The figures in the current template appear to indicate the appointment in which each party leads rather than the actual number of appointments called for each party. That does not match the column headings. - Ray Oiler 03:14, January 24, 2006 (UTC)

Move?

Why move it to 2009 ???

  • Do not know. But I moved it back to 2006. MOO 03:57, January 24, 2006 (UTC)

Clutter

This table is getting messy.

I propose to remove the "full name of the party". It does not add any information to the table, and makes it inconsistent with how the election table is presented throughout the Canadian election articles.

I also propose to remove # male and female candidates, and put this information into the main article.

Is that with me in this case? Ground Zero | t 15:00, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

I was brave - I was very, very brave - and went ahead and did this. Is not the table less messy and easier to read? Ground Zero | t 15:30, January 24, 2006 (UTC)

I do not think it's so messy, but the information you deleted is not very relevant in the summary of the results. So why not? --Valmi? 20:31, January 24, 2006 (UTC)

Elizabeth May

Stop stop switching elizabeth and jim harris. Elizabeth is probably the new leader of the green party. Just to fill you all and it's pretty nnoying having to change it

Dolly: You're right. Elizabeth May is the new leader of Green Party of Canada. This template is about the 2006 election, though. Jim Harris was the leader of GPC during the 2006 election, so this is his name that appears here. Elizabeth May was not the leader during the 2006 election. I hope we can approve these facts. thanks. Ground Zero | t 11:12, September 9, 2006 (UTC)

Dolly says: Yes, sorry I am concerned that I will remember to remember it. thanks.

Do not update to current status - this is history

The information in this template is the result of the 2006 federal election/status. It should not be updated with the latest information (such as changes in party leadership, vacancy in seat, election results, changing parliamentarians, etc.).

Thanks.-- GrantNeufeld 21:39, November 24, 2006 (UTC)

Name of the party

I propose to abbreviate the names of parties in the table - please see Template: Canada federal election, 2008. Ground Zero | t 19:29, September 9, 2008 (UTC)

  • Done. Ground Zero | t 15:13, September 11, 2008 (UTC)
