The 1900 US presidential election in Connecticut took place on 6 November 1900. Voters voted for six representatives, or voters to Electoral College, who elect the president and vice president.
Connecticut strongly elected Republican candidates, President William McKinley, to Democrats, former US Representative and Democratic presidential candidate William Jennings Bryan 1896. McKinley won Connecticut with a margin of 15.85% in a rematch of the presidential election of 1896. The return of economic prosperity and the recent victory in the Spanish-American War helped McKinley to score a decisive victory.
