The 2009 Miami FC season is the fourth season of the team in the First Division USL. After playing in Miami for three years, the team moved in this period to Fort Lauderdale. This year, the team finished in ninth place for the regular season. They did not make the playoffs. This is the last year of the team in the league as it ends up joining a group of other clubs that will leave USL to form a new North American Football League. However, the team will play the following year in the 2nd Division of the USSF.
